Prospective Study on the Environmental Footprint of Digital Technology - France 2030

This Monday, ADEME and Arcep presented the results of their prospective study on the environmental footprint of digital technology in France by 2030 and 2050 to several ministers (Bruno Le Maire, Christophe Béchu...).

💣 Their conclusions are clear: without actions to limit the growth of its environmental impact, the carbon footprint of digital technology could triple between 2020 and 2050.

🌿 The key measures to reduce this impact? Sobriety and eco-design... no surprises there.

Because there is no magic solution to build machines without rare resources or without an impact on the planet.
