We don’t depend on shareholders and our articles are — and will remain — fully open access. Whether one-off or monthly, your donations go entirely to developing the media: funding our investigations and field reporting, supporting our editorial team in its search for impactful initiatives, improving our platform to make information even more accessible to everyone, developing educational projects dedicated to responsible digital practices, decoding laws that regulate the digital world so every citizen can assert their rights, and more.

Yes! As an individual, each donation — whether one-off or regular — is tax-deductible at 66%. This amount is deductible from your income tax.
For example:
- A €10 monthly donation effectively costs you €3.40 per month.
- A €100 one-time donation ultimately costs €34.
A tax receipt will be issued by our partner J’aime l’info, an organization that facilitates donation management for both media outlets and donors.
Yes — and it’s very easy!
Once your donation is made, you’ll receive (at the email address you provided) a link to create your personal Donorbox account. From this account, you can modify or stop your recurring donation at any time.
Coop-média is an excellent initiative. We invested as early supporters.
Of course, we asked to join the group of participating media, but we were told there were too many requests.
It’s an ambitious project and it needs time to structure itself. As for us, we meet the criteria of an independent media outlet since we are members of SPIIL (Syndicat de la Presse Indépendante d’Information en Ligne).
